Member Training

There are five categories of membership. They are: Novice, Support Member, Mounted Member, Team Leader, and Operations Leader.

New members start out at the novice level. Then depending on the skills and qualifications they already have and on how quickly they acquired the knowledge needed, they move to the different levels at their own pace. Non-riding members progress from novice to support member and then to operations leader. Only those who wish to ride are required to meet the mounted membership qualifications. They can also become team and operation leaders.

The different member titles and responsibilities are listed on the chart below as well as the training requirements for each level.
